Look at these children. Most of them are living like orphans in the streets of Haiti. The earthquake has taken away their home and parents. Unprotected and uncared for, they live under the open sky. They have lost all their belongings including families, schools, and houses. Just imagine! Today, at this tender age, these children have practically nothing that they can depend on. We are trying to bring some hope to them by constructing shelters and orphanages. We are also building schools for them to reduce pressure on limited classroom space and to make room for more children who are looking to be enrolled in school.

To complete this project successfully, we need your support more than ever before. You can  effectively collaborate with us by sending your contributions to MAII to help build the schools and orphanages for the affected children. Remember that all your donations are tax deductible.

The overall situation in Haiti is not favorable enough to pull off new plans in rapid pace. Steeped in a deep economic crisis, we are at our wit`s end while crossing the hurdles to make our way ahead.  Our task is to reverse the conditions of a dislocated social life, acute poverty, and tremendous loss. We feel this hardship everyday as we are struggling to finish our school construction work that is overdue. Many of our future schools that are under construction remain unfinished because funds are not immediately available. Yet, in spite of fund shortages, we still have a strong determination to go ahead with our projects. For the present, we are compelled to run overpopulated classes in unfinished school premises, because we have no alternative support-system or additional facility to provide seats to minor students.

Your encouragement and active support as a partner in this humanitarian mission have always been a prime mover in all our efforts to change childrens' lives in disaster-ridden Haiti. Once again, we are making an earnest appeal to you to donate funds in support of our constructive endeavors.

We acknowledge that we have received your positive response and magnanimous contributions time and again whenever we asked for help. Let us express our sincerest gratitude for all your help so far, while at the same time we are serious about the fact that your donations bring upon us a major responsibility---the responsibility of implementing our action plan that aims to put in place a sustainable life for millions of sufferers in Haiti, and to create a favorable environment to put the people back on the path of progress and development.

We are facing enormous challenges. And, we are looking everywhere exhaustively and leaving no stone unturned when it comes to seeking support from people for the cause. The poor children who are still living in makeshift relief camps are about to be moving to their new transitional homes, once it becomes possible for us to complete the construction work.

However, we must report that, as a result of your great help, we have made measurable progress by opening up some new schools that are already providing some amount of elementary education to children. We are also making systematic efforts to revive and streamline our existing healthcare program to prevent any sudden outbreak of communicable diseases under present conditions. We are looking forward to getting assistance from generous donors and also from good doctors and health workers to help out children who visit our medical treatment camps every year.
