MAII's founder Rev. Lucien Duperier is passionate about helping children, but he is convinced that, for a community to see true revitalization, it is best to serve the whole population.  In an effort to educate adults with the skills they need to seek employment, MAII established a vocational school.  The vocational program provides professional training for students who have finished their secondary level education and are looking to get relevant skills for professional positions. It also offers courses for parents who want to learn new skills and become productive citizens in their communities.

Haiti’s economy has been in a bad shape for a long time, and it has limited resources to train its citizens with the skills they need to succeed.  As a result, over 70% of the country's population is unemployed.

There have been numerous large-scale efforts to boost the country’s financial state of affairs. However, these programs have not delivered desired results and have contributed to a sense of despair.

MAII offers several programs that address the economic concerns at a local relationship level. Our skill-creation programs help people prepare themselves for the job market. The trained professionals within the communities, help their neighbors acquire new skills and, thereby, add value to the economy. Please help us run these programs successfully. Your donation helps us run classes including:
